Physical change- The type of change in which no new substance is formed. Physical change is reversible change. It only affect the physical appearance but not the chemical composition.

Ex- melting of ice into water

Chemical change- The change in which a new substance is formed is called chemical change. It is also called irreversible change.

Ex- growing of a plant into tree
