when something can be reversed easily, it is called to be a physical change. eg. folding a paper, or even tearing it. BUT burning paper is a chemical change as it cannot be reversed, the carbon atoms combine with the oxygen atoms CHEMICALLY and the paper burns away... hence that is called a chemical change, or irreversible change.
