Nacl is the common name of sodium chloride ,it can dissolve in water we can't identify its particles in it sodium chloride used in cooking of food to get taste

1. NaCl being an ionic compound have a higher melting point than naphthalene.
2. NaCl is highly soluble in water while Naphthalene is not.
