Let I answer

1. Contact force is the type of force in which we need to be in contact with the object on which we need to apply force

In easy words we can say to apply such type of force objects should physically contact each other

ex- a footballer kicking a ball is an example of contact force because his leg is coming in contact with the football

2. forces at distance are the type of force in which physical contact is not needed they are applied from far places also

physical contact occurs after the force is being applied

ex - gravitational and magnetic force they works from far distances also but, as I told you they will come in contact with each other such as an object comes in contact to the earth and magnetic objects and even magnets come in contact each other.
