Physics and biology are considered different branches of science,how physics links with biology?

The genome is a highly complex “program” that describes an individual entity belonging to a particular species (a life form) and is the template for its realization. I read an article recently that said forensic geneticists, from human DNA, can develop a reasonably accurate facsimile of the appearance of the human from whom the DNA came. It can be almost photographic in detail (freckles, eye color, etc.), but will not be able to reflect environmental factors (weight, visible injuries, or damage caused by disease).


Physics describe the underlying forces that govern our universe and biology is the study of living things in that universe.

You can obviously link the two abstractly by saying the biochemistry that drives biology is dependent on physics principles.
