The earthing of an electric appliance is useful only if the fuse is in live wire. Give Reason.​

Explanation:

When current in the circuit exceeds, the fuse wire gets heated up to the extent that it melts , a gap is produced and the circuit breaks and the current does not flow through the live wire thus saving the appliance.

earthing wire is present in the ground and livewire carries the current in large scale if the amount of electricity passes suddenly it can harm to electric appliances. to protect appliances from excess of electricity fuse is used in live wire
