thrust =  mass \times accelertion \:  \\  = 20000 \times (g + 5) \\  = 2 \times {10}^{4}  \times (9.8 + 5) \\  = 2.96 \times  {10}^{5}  \\
wish you get your answer.

hello friend....!!!

according to the given question ,

⇒ mass = 20,000 kg

⇒initial acceleration a = 5 m/s²

⇒ g = 9.8 m/s²

we should  find the initial force of the blast ,

we know that ,

F - mg = ma ( according to newton's second law)

implies , F = m ( a + g )

therefore ,

F = 20000 ( 9.8 + 5 )

F = 20000 (  14 . 8 )

therefore ,

F = 296000

therefore ,

F = 2.96 X 10 ⁵

the answer is option ' C '

hope it helps...!!
