ANSWER:-

→For the first case, it would be in accordance to Newton's Third Law of Motion, which states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. So, the path of the ball would just be in opposite direction to what's mentioned in the given figure.

→For the 2nd case,

The angle formed between the striking position and the normal is 30°. After it's collision with the ruler, the ball would reflect back right with the same speed with the formation of the same measure of angle that was formed during collision between it's striking position and the normal just like what takes place with light when it strikes a smooth surface, say a mirror.
