1.
a)No: of oscillations [ in 1 min = 60sec ] = 40
No : of oscillations in 1 sec = 40/60 = 0.6666 = 0.67

Frequency = No : of oscillations in 1 sec = 0.67 Hz

b)Time period = 1/ Frequency
= 1/ 0.67
= 1.492 sec
= 1.5 sec

========================================

2.
Time period = 2sec
Frequency = 1 / Time period

= 1/2
= 0.5 sec
The name given to such a pendulum is seconds' pendulum.

3.
Time period is inversely proportional to acceleration due to gravity (g)

When , g decreases , time period increases.

Here , in this case , when g is reduced to 1/4th ,
this means that Time period increases 4 times than g

Hence ,
Time period = 4 sec
