Velocity of boat will be 0.35 metre per second by applying conservation of momentum.

842abhinavkumar: answer is option 4 less than 0.35
Ankitsain: yes because water and boat friction is neglected. air and boat friction is also there. that's why it will be less than 0.35

Answer:

As there is no external force applied, momentum of system will remain conserved.

Initial momentum = final momentum

⇒ (5)(14)=(140+60)(V), finally system (boat + person) will move with velocity V.

This gives V=0.35m/s.

Now since air and boat friction is present thus velocity would be <0.35m/s
