It is difficult to walk on smooth floor like that of a marble because the friction is less and the required grip is not available so, sometimes we slip on smooth surfaced floors.

To walk we need grip over floor. GRIP is more when friction is more. As wet marble has less friction , so grip over it is less and we are not able to walk properly over it..
