Alcohol acts as sedative,depresent and anesthetic agent.Alcohol has effects on nervous system too staggering gait and incoherent speech are very common.On stomach it may cause gastric ulcer,gastric carcinoma,achlorhydria.Alcohol also stimulates alcoholic fats on the wall of blood vessel that cause cardiomyopathy.
