sandy soil:- this soil contains a large amount of sand particles and very small amounts of silt and clay particles. This soil is highly porous because the particle size is large, the sandy soil is dry, well aerated and light. it is not suitable for growth of plants.

Clay soil:- that's all consists of mainly Clay particles and a small amount of humus and silt .Clay particles are fine, and there is less gap between the particles, the soil is heavily and Dense, it has high water retention and become sticky ,when wet, there is however, very little air in the clayey soil .

loamy soil:- this is the perfect sorry for grawing plants, it is a mixture of sand and clay and silt. loamy soil has the right water holding capacity, and has enough space for air it also content humus.
