Adverb clause

  • Adverb clause is a subordinate or a dependent clause that does the work of an adverb. It cannot stand alone as a complete sentence, It begins with a subordinate conjunction which connects it with the main clause.

Example -

After the play ended, they went for a walk.

As soon as the lecture ends, the bell rings.
