A zoo is a place where many animals, especially the wild ones, live in enclosed boundaries.

People with families love to visit the zoo to see the animals. The zoo is a short name for ‘Zoological Garden’ or ‘Zoological Park’.

The zoological garden is associated with the term ‘zoology’ which means the study of the animals.

Animal Safari’ is one of the most famous activities where visitors can drive inside and can watch and feed the animals.

There are 1000 zoos all over the world, and 80 % of them are inside the cities.

Zoos can look like a jail to the animals, but on the other hand, they provide shelter to them.

The zoos are to preserve endangered species and provide them with shelters to live and breed.

Sanctuaries are the reserve places spread in hectares where animals can live, roam and move freely like their natural habitat

Animals in zoos often show different behaviours which are not common.

Answer:

This picture is of a zoo. There are many people present here. There are different habitats for different animals like water for seals and hippos, trees for monkeys, ice for polar bears etc. There are two men standing and are focusing on man on their work of clicking photographs of this beautiful and enormous view and feeding the seals and the polar bears with the fish. Monkeys are swinging from one tree to another and snakes are slithering in different directions. Most of the people are shocked to see different kind of animals just at one place and some are screaming to save the lives from the crocodiles, rhinoceros and snakes. The giraffes due to their long neck are enjoying the view from a height without creating any disturbances. But besides, all animals also must have been thinking that they have been locked in a jail but on the other hand it is just for their safety purposes..
