I went to the railway station and saw people bustling on the platforms with numerous luggages towards their respective platforms. Trains were stopping and starting to move. There was a lot of noise at the station. A vendor was shouting his food menu while a book shop was selling books to the passengers. Kooleys were carrying the passengers luggages on their heads and were moving behind them. A person was running to catch his moving train while another was climbing up the stairs. People meeting their relatives were grinning from ear to ear and were happy to see them while the ones who were leaving them had tears in their eyes. The ticket collector was moving from seat to seat to check the tickets of the passengers. The police was roaming on the platform to check for theives and pocket cutters. The station was not properly clean. People had thrown water bottles, packets here and there. There was water spilled on the floor. Some people were lying or sleeping on the platform. Mothers were holding on their children along with the luggage.
