In India we have 5 seasons. Summer, Monsoon, Winter, Autumn, Spring while Europe consists of 4 seasons Summer, winter, autumn and spring. Europe and most other do not consider monsoon as a season because it is a phenomenon. Rain can occur at anytime of the year.

The seasons starts with hot and sultry weather with high temperatures and then gradually the temperature decreases untill it reduces to chills and even below freezing points in some countries.
