Answer:

1. Hercules (known in Greek as Heracles or Herakles) is one of the best-known heroes in Greek and Roman mythology. His life was not easy–he endured many trials and completed many daunting tasks–but the reward for his suffering was a promise that he would live forever among the gods at Mount Olympus.

Herakles had attributes of the gods, but had the interests of man in mind. He used his strength in the best interest of humans. Herakles behavior was not always appropriate for a hero/role model. He was often portrayed as a dull-witted, ill-tempered brute who performed evil deeds.

2. The biggest obstacle that Hercules faces is his stepmother Hera. Through out his challenges Hera tries to make him fail and undermined everything he does even tries to kill him. He prevails and beats every challenge without any problems.

3. When he overcame this madness, he was grief-stricken. To expiate his sins he needed to accomplish the Twelve Labors, such as killing monsters like the Hydra, cleaning stables, or bringing back the three-headed dog Cerberus from the underworld. He succeeded and mastered all twelve labors.

4. Throughout his life, Hercules is portrayed as gawky and awkward, but mostly clumsy because of not having control of his godly strength. He maybe a demigod but he was still considered a mortal.
