________Heyy Buddy ❤_______
_______Here's your Answer ________
Let the days taken by Pintu be x days.
=> Nishu takes (x - 6) days.
Now,
Work done by Pintu in 1 day = 1 / x.
And Work done by Nishu = 1 / ( x - 6).
A.T.Q.
1/x + 1 / (x-6) = 1/4
=>4 [ (x -6) + x] = x (x-6)
=> 4 ( 2x - 6) = x^2 - 6x
=> 8x - 24 = x^2 - 6x
=> x^2 - 6x - 8x + 24 =0
=> x^2 - 14x + 24 = 0
=> x^2 - ( 2 + 12)x + 24 =0
=> x( x - 2) - 12 ( x - 2) =0
=> x = 12 and x = 2.
x = 2 Neglect ( it is not possible)
Therefore,
=> x = 12.
Pintu takes 12 days ...
Nishu takes 6 days.
