Then Pipe B fill the tank in 2X minutes
Pipe A & B together fill the tank in 24 minutes.

Pipe A fills = 1/X part
Pipe B fills = 1/2X part
Pipe A & B fills = 1/24 part
1/24 = 1/X + 1/2X
1/24 = 2+1/2X = 3/2X
X = 36 minutes
2X = 72 minutes
Hence, pipe B can fill the tank alone in 72 minutes.
