Pipe A can fill a tank in 5 hours and pipe B can it in 6 hours. If both pipes are opened at the same time, when will the tank be full ?

Hey......!!! here is ur answer.....☺️☺️☺️

Given that,

Pipe A can fill the tank in 5 hours and pipe B can fill the tank in 6 hours.

Then LCM of 5 and 6 = 30

Then pipe A fill the tank in one hour = 30/5 = 6

and pipe B can fill the tank in 1 hr = 30/6 = 5

Now according to the question......when pipes A and B are opened at the same time

Then, Pipes A and B fill the tank in one hour when they r opened at same time = 6+5 = 11

Then the pipes will be fill the tank in =
total work/time taken in one hour
=> 30/11 hours.
