Pitcher plant chlorophyll yet it shows the heterotrophic mode of nutrition? why?

hey buddy!! here's your answer...

pitcher plant is an insectivorous plant and has chlorophyll. but it's not able to fix nitrogen. it acquires nitrogen by digesting the insect which falls in its pitcher.
