Pizza is of round shape but Why, does it comes in square box?

If it will come in round shape the pizza can't be removed easily . But if it is in square shape ,we can easily remove a slice of pizza from corner

The pizza boxes are made of cardboard sheets.  To make a box the sheets are folded accordingly to fit into the grooves.  A circular box would be difficult to be made with the cardboard.  Moreover the space left at the corners of the square box facilitates us in sliding our fingers and lifting up the pizza slice easily.  It greatly reduces the pick up time of a slice from the box.   Therefore, for efficient transportation, easy handling and being less expensive square boxes are used for pizza.
