PKb value of diethylamine is less than that of ethylamine :- give reason​

pK, value of diethylamine is less than that of ethylamine. 1. 1. Smaller the value of pKb, more basic is the amine.

2. In case of amines basic nature increases with increase in number of alkyl group.

3. In diethylamine there are two ethyl groups and in ethylamine there is one ethyl group. Hence, diethylamine is more basic and thus has high K, and low pK, value.
