Total Time: 40 minutes => 0.6 hours

We know that the formula for deriving the Distance

speed =  \frac{distance}{time}

25 =  \frac{distance}{0.6}

distance = 25 \times 0.6

Distance= 15 kilometre.

Now, we need to find Average speed.

average \: speed =  \frac{total \: distance}{total \: time}

average \: speed =  \frac{15}{0.6}

Average speed = 25 km/h.
