Given :

• Exterior angle of a triangle is 80° and the interior angles are in the ratio of 1 : 3

To find :

Measures of the interior angles

Solution :

Theorem of interior angles of the triangle :

It says that , The measure of an exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of its opposite angles

Interior angles are in the ratio of 1 : 3

Let, their common multiple be 'x'

According to the question,

 \implies \: { \rm1x  + 3x = 80 \degree }\\  \implies { \rm4x = 80 \degree }  \\  \implies { \rm\: x =  \frac{80}{4 }}  \\  \implies { \blue{ \rm\: x = 20 \degree}}

Measures of the interior angles :

1. 1x = 20 °

2. 3x = 3(20)°

= 60°

Option ( C ) is Correct .
