Place some pieces of a candlewax in a metal spoon. Hold the handle of the spoon with a
cloth. Heat the spoon over a flame.
(a) Describe what happens to the wax in the spoon.
(b) Is the material in the spoon still wax?
(C) Is this a physical change or a chemical change or both? Why?
(d) Remove the spoon from the flame and allow it to cool. What happens to the wax?
(e) Is there a physical or chemical change taking place? Why?​
