⍟ Construction :

 \large \sf \star \: \sqrt{3} = 1.7cm \: \: (approx)

  • But we have to place it using scale and compas

For simple placement

  • point on 1.7cm

Now, Using Conpass :

➜ Draw a line with,

  • numbers 0,1,2,3
  • Give 2cm gap between each number

Now open compass to any measure

  • and create 90° on measure '1'

Now open compass to 1cm

  • Now join 0 to A as shown in above pic

(To Prove )

  • Now, Keep compass on measure 1 of number line and open to 1cm

Create an arc from A to P

  • Here you got,P as root 3cm

▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

✪ Proof :

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \large \tt \star \: 0 \:  \: to \:  \: a =  \pink {\: \sqrt{3} units} \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \large \star \tt \: 0 \:  \: to \:  \: 1cm =  \pink{2units }\\  \large \star \tt \: 1cm \:  \: to \:  \: a = \pink{ 1units}

Measure Of P :

  • Near to 1.7cm
