Given : A triangle with 3 circles ( one on each vertex) and one circle on each side of a triangle

To Find :  Place the digits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 in the circles in so that the sum of the three numbers on each side of the triangle is 12.

Solution:

                 A

          B           C

     D         E           F

sum of the three numbers on each side of the triangle is 12.

Hence A + B + D = 12

A + C + F = 12

D +  E + F = 12

Adding all

A + B + C + D + E + F  + (A  + D + F)  = 36

A + B + C + D + E + F   =  21

21 +  (A  + D + F)  = 36

=> A + D + F = 15

6 + 5 + 4  = 15

Hence 6 , 5 and 4 will be on vertices of triangle

Rest 3 Digits to be filled to get sum 12

                 6

          1            2

     5         3           4
