HELLO DEAR FRIEND

|--------- 160 km ---------|
A _________________B

let the speed of one car be x

and another car be y

Given distance = 160 km

ATQ,

➡ when the goes in the same direction

8y - 8x = 160

8(y - x ) = 160

 \large{y - x = \frac{ \large{160}}{ \large{8}} }

y - x = 20 ........(1)

➡ when both cars goes towards each other.

then,

2x + 2y = 160

2(x + y) = 160

 \large{x + y= \frac{ \large{160}}{ \large{2}} }

x + y = 80 ......(2)

(1) + (2)

y - x + x + y = 20 + 80

2y = 100

 \large{ y = \frac{ \large{100}}{ \large{2}} }

 \large \bf \boxed{y \: = 50}

putting value of y on (1)

we get,

y - x = 20

50 - x = 20

- x = 20 - 50

- x = - 30

 \large \bf \boxed{x \: = 30}

So, speed of car one =

 \large \underline{50 km / h }

speed of another car =

 \large \underline{30 km / h }

THANKS

techhiking1: sorry i can't mark us brilliant but your answer was superb and I liked it very much but because the other person give me first that answer so I Martin brainliest but your explanation was good and that of that person was also saying sorry
