rear view mirror on a car is a convex lens which is a curved surface they always give an erect,though diminished image. And a plane mirror has a flat surface

WHICH WILL GIVE PROBLEMS TO SEE, WHERE AS, REAR VIEW MIRROR HAS CURVED SURFACE WHICH HELPS US TO SEE BEHIND CLEARLY.

Vehicles needs those mirror which can give driver wider view and far thing more closer so that they can drive safely

whereas plane mirror shows same size image that won't help driver for viewing better view
