plane mirror is not used as rear view mirror for vehicles why​

Answer:

the plane mirror cannot give the field view of that convex mirror provides because of the outward bulge.

the image of the plane mirror is of the same size as that of object, while the convex mirror gives the smaller image allowing a lot more back view than plane mirror.
