Radius is R/2
Mass is m/9
We know that
g=Gm/r
=G(m/9)/(r/2)
=G(m/9)(2/r)
=2Gm/9r
Therefore
gravity on Venus is 2/9th gravity on the earth

AbhavyaRathore: it's G M /r*2. so answer is 4/9

Answer:

    gₓ = 4.35m/s²

Explanation:

g = GM / R²

Radius of venus - Rₓ = R/2

Mass of Venus - Mₓ = M/9

Acceleration due to gravity on venus - gₓ

gₓ =  GMₓ / Rₓ²

gₓ =  GM/9 /  (R/2)²

gₓ =  GM/9 /  R²/4

gₓ =  G4M / 9R²

gₓ =  4/9.GM / R²

gₓ =  4/9g

gₓ = 4 × 9.8 / 9

gₓ = 4.35m/s²
