The on the planet Venus is 21.77 N.

The force of gravity on the planet is given as

g=GM/r^2

First we need to calculate the gravity of Venus

\frac{g_v}{g_e}=\frac{(GM_v)/(r_v)^2}{(GM_e)/(r_e)^2}

Plugging the values

(g_v)/9.8=4/9

g_v=4.35 m/s^2

Now the weigh of the 5kg mass is calculated as

W=mg

W=5*4.35

=21.77 N
