Plant cell needs cell wall whereas animal cell do not because the plants need rigid structure so that they can grow up and out . All cells have cell membranes, and the membranes are flexible. may be the reason is of vacuole bcz in plant has large central vacuole for stirage and maintaining the shape of the cell while in animal cell small vacuoles r present so tehre shap is not fixed

i think this will be the reason....
