Plant cells have a cell wall, chloroplasts and other specialized plastids, and a large central vacuole, which are not found within animal cells. The cell wall is a rigid covering that protects the cell, provides structural support, and gives shape to the cell.

Plant cells have cell wall because it provide Structural Support. It is a rigid covering of the cell wall which prevent the Organelles from leaking out and it also provide Definite shape. But it is not present in animal cell because, animal had to move in search of food so they need Flexibility. That's why Cell wall is present in Plant cells not in animal cells.
- Cell wall is made up of cellulose.
- It is freely Permeable.
- It provide mechanical Strength to the cell.
- It controls cell expansion
- It control intercellular transport.
- It protect against infective organism.
