(1) appical meristematic tissue

- present on growing topof stem , root, leaves etc

- it helps in incresing length of diiferent plant bodies

- it cause primary growth of plants

(2) lateral meristmatic tissue

-they are found in beneath the bark and in the vascular bundles

- it causes the stem , branches , and root to increase the diameter and girth

-it causes second growth of plants

(3) inter calary meristematic tissue

-they are located at the base of the branches , leaves or introdes
