the plants shows movement in response to stimulus for movement to happen cells change their shape by changing the amount of water in them.
1) phototropism (stimulus -light) = the movement of plants towards sunlight.
2)geotropism (stimulus -gravity) =the movement of plant's roots towards the gravitational force of earth.
3)chemotropism (stimulus -chemical) = the movement of pollen tube of a plant to the ovule of another plant.
4)hydrotropism (stimulus -water) = the moment of parts of plants towards the water .
