Plant that contains chromoplast can make their own food with the process of photosynthesis or not.

Explanation:

There are three types of plastids :-Chloroplasts, Chromoplasts and Leucoplasts. All of them have different functions. Chloroplast is the one responsible for producing the green pigment 'Chlorophyll'  and then the making of food by the process of Photosynthesis. Chromoplast , on the other hand, are responsible for providing distinctive colours to the fruits, flowers, roots and aging leaves. It is nowhere related to the food making process. Finally, Leucoplasts are the one which only help in the stored of this synthesised food. Therefore, the plants that contain chromoplasts also contain chloroplasts for making their food otherwise they're heterotrophic plants.
