Because it can damage the soil and if the same crop is grown no nourishment will be there neither in the soil nor in the plant.To regain nourishment crop rotation method should be used plants should be differently not the same plant should be grown or the field should be left bared for few days or months. Or leguminous plants should be grown to regain nourishment.
