Plants absorb water from the soil. How does this water reach to the top of the tree? Explain in detail.

Answer:

A large number of root hair present on the roots. The root hair increase the surface area of the root for absorbing water and the minerals dissolved in water. The root hair absorbs water present between the soil particles from the root hair , Water along with minerals enters the roots from the roots , it moves upward towards the stems and leaves by Xylem.
