Plants are autotrophic. Can you think of some plants that are partially heterotrophic?

The autotrophic mode of nutrition is followed by plants that made food on their own in the presence of sunlight by photosynthesis.


However, there are plants that follow the partial heterotopic mode of nutrition that can make their own food and feed on other insects as well.


For instance, Venus flytrap, Nepenthes - pitcher plant and drosera - sundew plant.
