IT IS BECAUSE OF THE CHLOROPHYLL THAT PLANTS ARE GREEN IN THE COLOUR. AND THIS PIGMENT ABSORBS THE LIGHT ENERGY WHICH IS USED IN THE PROCESS OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS.
