Plants die when excess of soluble fertilizers are added to the soil. Why?

hey mate your is that

because when we added the excess amount of soluble fertiliser then they show a negative effect on the plant and they increase the rate of metabolism in the plant though plant can't tolerate this affect and so that plant can be die
