Plants do not have a digestive system like us. why do they not need a digestive system like us?

We obtain the nutrients from the food we eat. Our digestive system helps in breaking down the complex nutrients into simpler ones for performing cellular respiration. But plants being autotrophs, they make their own food through the process of photosynthesis and we know that the products of photosynthesis is glucose( which is the simplest form of carbohydrates), oxygen and water. Therefore the plants don't need any digestive system as they directly make their food in simpler forms.
