Thigmotropism, its the movement of plant due to any contact or touch

for eg. climbers climb with the help of thigmotropism

anyways, when a plant like mimosa(touch me not plant) is touched the stimulus is received which causes the pedicle(the part where leaf is attached to the stem) to pull all the water, all the water from the leaf is now in the stem which causes the leaf to shrink.

Therefore, plants do not have any nervous system but they can respond to some specific stimulus because they have chemical pigments for that
