Plants do not use all water they absorb.Most of it is lost by transprition.why then plants absorb more water than they need
Plese give a proper answere that i am wrote for my exam

Answer:

Plants absorb more water than needed because most of it is lost due to transpiration.So to compensate the loss of water more water is absorbed,and also due to the cohesive forces between water molecules more water is absorbed because of the transpiration pull.
