Tropical evergreen forests are also known as tropical rain forests because they are confined to tropical reigons where heavy rainfall occurs throughout the year.
All trees do not shed their leaves at the same time. Hence, the forest always green. That is why, such forests are known as evergreen forests.
Hardwood trees/plants grow like mahogany, ebony, rosewood, rubber and palm.
