Plants do not need to move from one place to another. Movements in a plant are usually at the cellular level and hence a far less amount of energy is required by plants. Animals, on the other hand, need to move from one place to another; in search of food. So, the energy need of animals is pretty higher than of plants.

Answer:
plants have low energy needs bcos they dont need energy to move , they dont have muscles which use up energy unlike in animals which use a lot of energy to move from one place to another and a heart to pump blood to diff organs of the body. Animals also use energy for maintaining body temp while plants cool themselves with transpiration which does not require ener
