Plant carries mineral water from the soil through it's roots. The plant contains a special type of tissue called 'xylem tissue'. It's job is to transport water and minerals from the root to the whole part of the body.

NOTE: most of the children do get confused in xylem and phloem. The easy way to remember is that we can think that xylem sounds familiar to 'jal' which means water. It is very helpful...!!
